in partnership with logo oecd’s Directorate for Public Governance and Territorial Development and MENA-OECD Governance Programme

organised by Adetef and the directorates of the French economic and financial ministries

with the support of the French Development Agency (AFD).  

As a unique and key opportunity to hear and exchange views on first-hand accounts of international technical assistance by economic and financial authorities, this symposium has contributed to the sharing of good practice and spurred discussion on the impact and methods of technical assistance. It has also highlighted projects run with foreign governments and supported by national and international donors.

The day focused on the contribution of gender balance for good economic governance. How does gender balance make the implementation of reforms and policy development more effective? To which extent is it a leverage for effective public policies and the fight against corruption? We also discussed the modernisation of public service through mechanisms promoting gender balance in governance.
